In Summer 2021 I was invited by Aaron Shrimpton to exhibit a film at his newly founded Estuary Dreams screening event. This was the start of my journey with Estuary Dreams, one which has become important to me and my practice.

Estuary Dreams 2.0 was born with the knowledge that there was a real desire to have a space for experimental filmmaking and learning amongst Essex artist’s. An open call was created for artists from/based in Essex, held over two workshop days, participants attended the workshops and then within a 7 day period created a film to be screened and discussed a week later.

I held an artist mentor workshop which went through my filmmaking process as someone who utilises my own video archive, doing a live demo of video and sound programming. In the week that came after all participants created a short film, which we then screened and discussed the following week in feedback sessions led by lecturer and artists.

The films created in our workshops will be screened as part of Estuary Festival 2025.
