Music is integral to my research and practice. This has naturally led me to collaborate with various musicians, from EP artwork design to live projected visuals.

To avoid a narrow path

For Stan’s debut EP we wanted to capture the space in which all of his music is created - his home studio.
Above Stan’s mixing desk he has a framed photograph of one of his biggest inspirations - J Dilla, sitting in his studio surrounded by records. We wanted to create a reinterpretation of this, but adapted to visualise Stan’s studio space.
These two visuals came together to produce this original lino-cut print which was then used for his debut EP.
